EDUARDO JOVANOVIC

Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller. 

Eduardo Jovanovic is a full-time filmmaker originally from Venezuela and currently splitting his time between Portland and Miami. He holds an Architecture Associate's degree  from Miami Dade College and a Bachelor's in Film from Portland State University.

With a diverse portfolio encompassing narrative projects, short films, features, music videos, and corporate commercials, Eduardo has established himself as a versatile filmmaker. His expertise has attracted collaborations with renowned brands such as Walmart, RedBull, and Nestlé.

Eduardo's proficiency as a Director of Photography (DP) has resulted in visually captivating work. Notably, his work on the music video "No Quiero Na'" by Samantha Sanchez, which garnered over 1 million views on YouTube. Additionally, his cinematography on the short film "Night Shift" was Official Selection of the Portland Horror Film Festival, while the music video "Mariposa Negra" found its place in the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival 2019.

In corporate projects, Eduardo's focus is on strategically aligning his direction with clients' marketing objectives. By understanding their goals and incorporating effective storytelling techniques, he creates engaging content that delivers results.

When working on narrative projects, Eduardo emphasizes capturing the essence of each story rather than imposing rigid aesthetic systems. His approach driven by intuition allows him to craft immersive cinematic experiences that resonate with audiences.
